UCSD Death: Law enforcement agency and EMS are responding to an incident at the University of San Diego’s Geisel Library on Wednesday. A student reportedly jumped to their death at the library. Police were called to the scene around 11:30 am

Law enforcement agencies were called to the library for a body-found report on November 6, 2024. According to reports, the Library was immediately evacuated and closed down due to the ongoing police investigation. Law enforcement agency said an individual passed away after throwing themselves down from the library’s 8th floor. The person was confirmed dead at the scene.

Arriving officers performed live-saving measures, but sadly the individual passed away at the location. The library announced on X that the facility would be closed for the rest of the day.
