410 Accident Investigations: A single-vehicle crash in Brampton has resulted in one death. According to provincial police, the incident occurred around 11 a.m. on Sunday in the southbound lanes of Highway 410 near Highway 407.
According to an OPP statement, two passengers were in the car at the time of the incident, with one being ejected. That victim was brought to the hospital in a life-threatening condition. The individual’s age and gender were not immediately revealed. Brampton fire authorities stated on social media that the injuries were fatal. The second victim in the crash had serious injuries.
The circumstances surrounding the collision were not immediately revealed. For the investigation, the southbound lanes of Highway 410 have been closed from Steeles Avenue to Highway 407. The identities of those involved were not released immediately.
